Dynamic Landscaping is a growing landscaping company serving Syracuse and surrounding Northern Indiana communities with landscaping, lawn care, property maintenance, irrigation, and related outdoor services. Dynamic Landscaping is looking for experienced Landscape Division Leads who can take ownership of a service division, support field crews, and become a dependable link between technicians and the Production Manager. As our company grows, we are strengthening our leadership structure so that teams have knowledgeable leaders who can answer questions, troubleshoot problems, train employees, monitor work, and keep communication flowing.
This is a hands-on leadership position. You should be comfortable working in the field while also handling responsibilities such as supervising employees, approving time, ordering materials, communicating with customers, solving problems, and helping technicians improve their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support field employees within an assigned landscaping or service division.
- Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and technical guidance to crew members and technicians.
- Help train employees on proper procedures, quality expectations, safety, and company standards.
- Troubleshoot field, equipment, service, or customer issues as they arise.
- Serve as a communication link between field crews and the Production Manager.
- Review and approve employee timesheets and other required documentation.
- Use company software to document work, track information, and support operational processes.
- Coordinate materials, supplies, and other resources required by your division.
- Monitor quality and productivity and help hold team members accountable.
- Communicate professionally with customers when field questions or concerns arise.
- Ensure crews understand the scope of work and expectations before and during projects.
- Help solve problems proactively before they create larger production issues.
- Maintain reliable attendance and lead by example.
- Promote teamwork between divisions, production, sales, and office staff.
- Help develop employees so technicians and crew members can grow into greater responsibility over time.
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, fertilization, property maintenance, or a related green-industry field.
- Previous experience leading employees, crews, or teams strongly preferred.
- Ability to coach employees and hold team members accountable.
- Strong people and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, crew members, and management regarding work instructions, safety, scheduling, and service issues.
- Comfortable interacting professionally with customers.
- Strong reliability and attendance.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to consistently use company software.
- Ability to learn new technology, systems, and processes.
- Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced field environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented leadership style.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and working within clearly defined processes and performance expectations.
- Valid driver's license required due to regular travel between customer properties and job sites.
- Specific technical experience in irrigation, fertilization, lawn care, maintenance, or another landscaping specialty is highly valued depending on the division.
- This is a hands-on, field-based leadership position. Employees should be able to work outdoors in the conditions normally encountered in landscape operations and perform the essential field duties of their assigned division.
Pay and Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 Employment
- Pay: $22 - $25 per hour, depending on experience and technical background.

- Field employees become eligible for 5 days of paid vacation after 12 consecutive months of employment.

- Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, with additional hours or weekends as required during peak season
